Georgina Nuñez es una artista Argentina nacida en 1984, con un portfolio de trabajos impresionante para su corta edad.
Desde los 15 años estudia y trabaja en el campo de las artes visuales sobre todo en el de la pintura, con más de 100 obras realizadas. Sus estudios del dibujo y la pintura comenzaron de la mano del profesor José Luis Gomez Catoira en su taller privado, para luego completar la carrera de artes visuales en la Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes Regina Pacis.
Desde temprana edad estuvo muy atenta a no dejar de lado sus inquietudes sociales. Su trabajo a lo largo de los años refleja una búsqueda constante por transmitir la emoción, los ideales y los valores que cree que el mundo ha ido olvidando, pasando desde lo más explícito (serie crítica) a lo más sutil (serie la vecinita de enfrente).
Ella cree que explicarlo todo es divertido, pero que la sutilidad deja en el espectador algo mucho más íntimo. Es un final abierto un misterio y con tan solo indagar un poquito descubrimos que su autora tiene siempre fuertes ideales detrás de su obra. |

Georgina Nunez is an Argentine artist born in 1984 with an astonishing work portfolio for her short age.
She’s been on the art field since age 15 studying and working mostly on her paintings, with an overall of almost 100 works. Her studies of painting and drawing started with professor José Luis Gomez Catoira in his private atelier, and were followed by the completion of the visual arts career at Regina Pacis school of fine arts in Argentina.
From her early ages she has been eager to portray her social concerns. Her work over the years show a constant search to transmit emotion, ideals and values she thinks the world is forgetting, from the most explicit (critical series) to the most subtle (the real girl next door series).
She believes explaining it all is fun, but subtlety gives a much more intimate feeling to the viewer. It’s like an open ending, something mysterious, and if we look a little further we can always find the author’s strong ideals beyond her work. |
